Commonweal Medical Aid to a Tibetan Patient

On the afternoon of April 24, 2010, Doctor Jia Ligen, led by the consultant responsible for the Tibetan area, went to visit an inpatient, Zhang Tao (Qiang Nationality, male, 25 years old, primary-school teacher) in the Tibetan Department of West China Hospital. 10 and 8 years ago, he respectively had two operations for parasite hydatid in the left hindbrain and equipped with the water-leading pipe in a hospital in the Tibetan area. Unfortunately, he fell into confusion of mind several weeks ago. The CT examination showed hydrocephalus as a result of blockage in the water-leading pipe, and a new pipe had to be substituted through operation. Doc. Jia explain the disease and gave advice to his families.
